Our Ministries

Our children’s ministry is an extension of our ministry to families. We recognize that God has placed parents as the primary spiritual influence in their family; therefore, our goal is to partner with parents to assist them in leading their families spiritually.

Children’s Sunday School and Wednesday evening ‘clubs’ are available to support and reinforce the parents’ ministry to their children.

Our youth ministry is an extension of our ministry to families. We recognize that God has placed parents as the primary spiritual influence in their family; therefore, our goal is to partner with parents to assist them in leading their families spiritually.

The goal of our youth ministry is to come along side our parents in their efforts to disciple their children through their Middle and High School years. We strive to water and nurture the seeds of the Word and faith that many of our parents have sown into the hearts of their children.

Fellowships, Bible studies, summer camp, choir, community service projects, and regular activities are available for our young people.

Being a senior does not mean one is allowed to ‘retire’ from service in God’s program. Our seniors are active in many facets of the ministry here at Bethesda Baptist. Areas in which our seniors are involved include:

*Teaching Sunday School
*Serving in the nursery
*Serving in times of fellowships
*Serving as ushers and greeters
*Cleaning and maintaining the church facility and grounds
*Having regular times of fellowships and activities

Senior saints are essential in passing on the faith from one generation to the next. For that reason, we believe it is extremely important to have them rubbing shoulders with members of every age, in every aspect of ministry.

Here at Bethesda, we take our women’s ministry seriously. We meet together weekly on Wednesday evenings for a time of true Bible study followed by taking our joys and sorrows before the Lord in prayer. We enjoy an annual retreat at the beach where we attempt to dig deeply into the Word of God, worship, and relax together. In addition, we maintain an outreach ministry with a local pregnancy center, meet for special times of fellowship and service, and enjoy annual events centered around missionaries we support. We are a group of women who love God and each other and are excited to be serving through our local church.

In a rapidly changing world that has redefined most of our longstanding institutions, including the church, it is our desire as a men’s ministry to uphold the principles found in Acts 2:42. We are a group of men that meets weekly on Wednesday evenings for a time of bible study and corporate prayer. In addition to this, we have structured times of service and working together as we attempt to keep our property maintained. We also have an annual focus on our foreign missionaries that includes special men’s activities. Our primary focus is on serving our families and assuring that Bethesda stays a pillar and ground of the truth.
